Signs Point to None
None, MJ, and Shen enter Garfield campaign headquarters, where almost twenty campaign staff mill about. A likeness of Senator Garfield is stamped on every possible form factor. Buttons. Signs. Bumper stickers. Bobbleheads. Impressionable minds.
A whiteboard in the shape of a speech bubble fastens onto a life-size Garfield cardboard cutout. It reads “smaller government.”
Shen pulls out the camera. “I’d like to record this so that I can post it online. Is that cool?”
“Sure. Do anything to get the word out. I’m Steve, and this is Ben.” The campaign staff shakes everyone’s hand.
“We’re campaigning. Can we have some signs?” None asks.
“Take what you need,” Steve says. None and MJ grab signs.
“Can we keep the signs, as a gift?” None asks.
“Yes,” Steve says
