The bistro is Astrid’s territory. She proclaimed Bistro Valmont her favorite French restaurant, not just in D.C., but the entire East Coast. Given that Astrid was French and known for her discerning palate, her endorsement made Bistro Valmont an instant sensation. A poster-sized autographed picture of Astrid hangs on the wall, overshadowing pictures of the bistro owners.
