Voting Records
None walks into Corella’s office flanked by MJ and Shen.
Corella watches the Astrid breakup from the show on a wall mounted monitor. She rushes to minimize the window. “You may be president, but this is my office.”
None pretends he didn’t notice her screen. “I need to see the voting records.”
“And I need higher ratings.” Corella scowls at None. “You read that infrastructure report like a damn phone book. Another stunt like that and the show will get canceled.”
None says, “I’m working to fix America. That has to bring in ratings.”
Corella shrugs. “Right now, people would rather grab a snack from the fridge than hear your boring solutions. So, why did you need the voting records?”
“We think Faraday cheated,” MJ says.
“The votes were independently verified,”
