Adaptonium
It’s the longest None has ever been away from his best friend. He video conferences with MJ every night, but still feels alone. MJ’s family treats him well, but None locks himself in his room. No distractions. Every minute not used for sleep, or meals, he works on his prototype, Adaptonium. Focus on the code. Change the world. Forget election worries. Forget campaigning. Forget missing MJ. The months pass. None stays locked in his cocoon, away from the outside world.
The meme machines of the Internet fabricate their own None and MJ antics. The campaign takes on a life of its own, with only the occasional intervention from MJ.
