Andrew's POV
I was such a fool to think I'd be happy by causing her to feel a little bit of jealousy. Hoping she'd finally come to agree with her feelings for me. But she was good at hiding it—good at feigning that having another woman by my side wasn't hurting her as much as it hurts me.
“How long do you need to think about it?”
"What?” I asked, a spoonful of my meal midway from my mouth. I had barely heard Diana's question.
But she didn't mind repeating herself. “You said you wanted to think about mating with me, but you never told me how long I should wait?”
I snorted, "Don't tell me you were expecting an answer tonight.”
She shrugged, "Maybe.”
"I just think we have to know each other properly before anything else.”
