Claudia had unexpectedly come to me and asked questions about Drew's death. The investigations were going slowly or rather… nowhere but I tell her that justice will be served.
I don't want Drew's death to go unpunished either but it's practically draining me. The deeper I go into finding more evidence, the more my pack and its inhabitants are in danger.
A wolfbane was found in the maid's dressing locker after I had ordered Jacob and some other gamma to do a secret search around the pack for anything unusual.
“You will be fine. And if you need to stay longer, it's okay.” I said to Claudia, my consoling hands on her shoulder.
