Dead bodies, wounded victims, and a low fire cast on several houses. The fire once suppressive was now nothing more than ashes. The sight was disheartening and my anger surged more than ever. The people who were able to escape the attack had come back as eyewitnesses.
Alpha Hon himself had come to start the war—he did this as a warning and there was no doubt that he knew about the ongoing plans for the upcoming war against him and his pack. How did he know about the plans? Who could have betrayed the pack? Or did he have an insider? All these questions lingered through my mind, another riddle to solve—but for now, my people came first.
