Her mind was still reeling from his out of character behavior. A part of her felt like she had pushed the issue too much and was angry for having made such a simple mistake. Now he was definitely going to close off and put his massive walls back up. She had let her anger in and made an absolute f*****g mess of everything. It would not be easy to build up the progress she had made but she was willing to try. Not that she had a choice.
