The world was hazy and unclear. Allegra could only hear white noise, a sound that completely disoriented her. Her body seemed to be suspended in a kind of empty space. Her eyesight blurry as she slowly opened her eyes, her body not quite feeling like her own. She could hear a voice in the horizon, one she could not quite decipher. It was female, airy and beautiful. It left her feeling a longing unlike anything she had ever felt before. It also sounded incredibly familiar.
