At about 1.30 p.m., Ify drove into the premises of Famous Grammar School along Achalla Road. She stopped under a tall shady mango tree and alighted. Schoolboys were moving to the opposite library in their numbers as if there was a seminar but when she entered, she saw that they were busy reading as quietude pervaded the library.
Inside the staff room, she was made to understand that her friend Comfort was having a class with one of the classes of class one students-the junior secondary school class one. She was used to some of the teachers regarding her as Comfort’s twin sister. They look alike. And so did Comfort’s colleagues say. Comfy was the real being that could tolerate and harbour Ify’s excesses and vice versa. Birds of same plumage as the saying go congregate in same proximity. Co
