Chapter 32 – The Mentarch
Jerry gave his head a brief shake and rubbed his temples. Fighting the Mentarch was going to be tougher than he thought.
“Come on, Sergeant,” Kajora pleaded. “Let's go. Let's leave that thing behind and focus on the mission. The jammer, remember?”
“I am focused on the mission.” He ran a hand through his hair and glowered at the crystal. “The Mentarch is the key to shutting off the jammer. It's our best option. Trying to infiltrate that facility again is suicide. If I'm going to succeed, it'll happen here, not there.”
“With Calael gone, there's no one here to watch your back. I can try, but I'm not a soldier. If more Reliants show up—”
