“Jammer is down, sir!” Lieutenant Carter said.
“Excellent,” Captain Fuller said. “Take us down.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Battle stations.”
The klaxon sounded.
Fuller turned around in his chair. “Guns?”
“All batteries are hot, sir,” Moss said. “Ready to fire at your command.”
“Good.” Fuller turned back and watched the graphic on the console. The Sunfire plummeted towards the Chakros valley. In a moment, it would pass through the cloud cover. “Open fire on the jamming facility as soon as we're through the clouds and in range.”
“Yes, sir.”
