Sarah’s POV The next morning, I found Nyssandra sitting on her back patio, a large white sun hat draped over her face as she sipped tea. She waved as I meandered the sand path leading to the patio. My feet were bare, and my thoughts drifted to Sebastian. Was he still in the dungeon? Was he thinking about me? I sent a pulse of energy through my veins just to see if I could feel him. This place was strange, and I thought maybe I could sense him. The energy rebounded and zapped my whole body, and I jumped. Nyssandra sat up and tipped her hat back. “What was that?” I smiled sheepishly. “Could you feel that?” “I feel energy at all times, in all spaces. It is part of my gift.
