Sebastian's POV I heard Sarah’s high-pitched scream permeate the stone wall separating our rooms. Fear’s cold fingers gripped my chest. Was she in danger? I shot from my bed and quickly threw on a bathrobe. Rushing to her bedroom, I found Sarah covered in sweat, seemingly in the midst of a nightmare. Tangled in the sheets, she thrashed around. I sat on the edge of her. She was a delicate creature, even if she didn’t see it. What must her life have been like to have such a dream? I sighed. Not so long ago, my own nightmares pulled me under. I wiped the sweat from her forehead and gently placed a hand on her shoulder, hoping to comfort her. “It’s okay, Sarah, you’re safe.” Her breathing slowed, and she became still.
