Franco arrived at work early. So early, in fact, that the only employee he saw in his company was the security guard.
Upon entering his office, he immediately focused on his work. Shortly after, he heard a soft knock on the door. Even when it opened, he didn't bother to lift his gaze from his laptop.
"Sir, here's your coffee," his secretary said.
"Leave it there," he replied in a serious tone, his eyes still fixed on the laptop’s screen.
He felt her footsteps approaching. Then she placed the mug containing his coffee on the table.
"Sir, do you have anything you want?" she asked a moment later.
"No. You may leave," he said.
"Okay, Sir," she replied, and he felt her turn away and walk out of his office. But before she could completely exit, he called her.
