I frown and shake my head

He sighs and nods his head and his eyes turn back to normal, he shakes his head

I smirk and Baylee stands forward.

Baylee nudges him, he smiles taking a deep breath

I answer excitedly standing on my toes

“Mark, do you take Ashley as your wife?”

Someone coughs beside me, making me pull back. It’s Noah and Sophie.

“Come on we don’t have long to take pictures, let’s start with aspen and Luca, little Arthur and Arabella are falling asleep”

We spend the next hour taking so many photos, ending with goofy ones with the kids.

“Ok Luna, just because your a big shot now doesn’t give you an excuse not to come home”

Jaxon says pulling me into a hug, I hug him back just as hard. I say goodbye but just as the door is about to close Ailm comes running with a bag of weed. We lay in bed on the plane watching a movie I yawn rolling to look up at mark, I push some of his shaggy hair from his face, he playfully tries to bite it making me giggle

He shakes his head

He groans rolling his eyes

I growl again as I slap his nose

Long enough, as The Luna I needed to make them get along. They were soon to be alphas and they needed to know how to work together and I had to make sure it happens.

I growl not having time for his games, I grab my pyjamas and pull them on and go to the bag under the bed and pull out one of his shirts and I throw it on as he pulls on his own bottoms forgetting about a shirt, when we are dressed we walk into the seating area and buckle up

“So do you know where we are?”

He yawns throwing his arm over my shoulder and shaking his head

“No but I hope it’s warm, so sick of the cold. I want a hot Sandy beach”

I moan closing my eyes, that sounds good. The plane lands and as the door opens hot humid air hits me and i smile, the pilot comes out of the cockpit smiling at us

“Where are we?”

He winks at us then walks down the steps. I grin sitting up to stretch as my stomach starts to growl, mark laughs leaning down to kiss me as we head back into the bedroom to get dressed, I pull out a swimsuit bra and pull it on, i dress in the matching bottoms and pull over a yellow summer dress finishing the look with my pink sliders and pink hip bag, adding my phone and vaporiser. I do a little twirl for Mark and he clutches his heart. I looked him over, as usual he looked smoking hot. His brown hair was shaggy and sitting in messy curls on the top of his head, the sides were trimmed tightly. His green eyes made his beautiful tan skin glow. His aura was bright like a halo around his body, it was way stronger than it had ever been before. He wore a cream button down shirt opened the entire way with green shorts. He wore matching green sliders on his feet and he looked absolutely beautiful. He held his hand out to me, lifting the bag with the other. Sophie had packed a quick bag for us both but we would buy more stuff when we arrived because it was such a rush to get out of the house.

“Breakfast?”

Mark asks me, his eyes bright and happy. I smile, taking his hand and we leave the plane stepping into the warm humid air. I took a breath and sigh as the warmth coats my skin and hugs me. It was so hot it was hard to catch a full breath but that didn’t bother me. We climbed into the back of a cool black car, air conditioning hitting my face as I entered, blowing my hair from my face. Mark hops in after me, pulling me to his side.

The driver starts the car and we take off through the city. I grin as kids play on the streets and the adults sit on the sidewalk, talking and playing poker. The sun beams down on them all as we drive by heading away from the city centre and towards the beach. We pass by markets and people bartering on the street side. I grin back at mark but he’s so busy watching me he is missing it all

“Don’t look at me look out here”

“I don’t care where we are, we could be on the moon for all I care, your emotions and the smile on your face is all I want to concentrate on”

“My emotions?”

“Yeah, I feel like I fed off them. When you're happy your light glows so bright, your heart practically sings and your breathing gets faster to match your heartbeat and the way you feel is so consuming. You make everything in the world right when it feels wrong, you can see and feel the Beauty in things that no one else can and I love it. I love it all so much Ashley.”

I blush at the attention, I had no idea he cared that much about us. I know he loves me but to be consumed in my emotions is kind of crazy.

“Do you do that to other people too?”

He shakes his head a smile playing on his lips

“Nope, only you. When I was younger and training yes but now my powers are stronger my body feels for everyone but I only let it concentrate on you. To do that for fun seems like a betrayal on you, so I would only do it If had to, plus your feeling and emotions distract me from my own head”

I frown sitting closer to him

“Why what’s wrong with your head?”

He sighs pushing hair from his face

“Nothing and everything, it’s just a little overwhelming to feel everyone else’s emotions sometimes so it helps to zero in on yours, now come on I need to feed you, let’s choose a place”

He had never told me that before, I felt guilty that I never noticed before, he has spent so long trying to make me happy that I never thought he had an ulterior motive before. Not that I don’t mind if it helps him. I'm happy to help but I just wish I had paid better attention so I could know when he was struggling again. He takes my hand and kisses it with a smile on his face. He looked so handsome and beautiful. I was so damn lucky. The car stops on a busy part of the city but it was obviously very high class here. Mark helps me from the car and tells the driver to wait and we head into the first restaurant I see.

The woman does a double take when she sees us and immediately blushes as her eyes rake down Mark’s body slowly. He clears his throat and steps back pulling me in front of him and wrapping his arms around my body and pulling me flush to his. The woman’s face flares even redder as she looks a little guilty. I give her a genuine smile, who the hell would really blame her. He's a damn hunk. She seems to relax

“Hey I’m Alice and I will be your server today, where would you like to sit? The sky is clear today so the view from the deck is spectacular”

I grin and nod excitedly

“Yes please that would be perfect”

She smiles and turns, walking away. We followed her through the restaurant and out to the decking. The place was busy with tourists. Mark pulls the chair out for me and I sit down, he pulls his chair around so he’s sitting beside me. The woman pouts and gives me a small smile

“So cute, here are some menus but I suggest the eggs benedict it’s amazing”

My stomach rumbles, Mark chuckles, shaking his head and taking my menus. Mark handed them back and gave her a genuine smile

“2 of those would be perfect and some coffee and bottled water”

Her face flushes as he talks and I have to bite my lip to stop the giggle

“Perfect I’ll be right back”

She walks away and I look to him, he looks embarrassed at the attention making me laugh

“You ok over there”

He blows out a breath shaking his head

“No, I hate humans, can’t tell them to f**k off because I’m taken. It’s really rather awkward when they do that”

He shivers and I throw my head back and howl in laughter, he rolls his eyes at me but I see the smile play at him lips I elbow him

“Don’t pretend you don’t enjoy the attention just a little”

He grabs my sides tickling me and making me squeak in surprise and giggle

“Mercy mercy mercyyyyyyy”

He pulls me onto his knee and he kisses me softly, pulling back and resting his head and my head

“The only attention I want is from you beautiful”

He sniffs me and his body relaxes considerably. I go to move and he pulls me tighter against him

“Nope you're not moving your going to protect me and sit on me all day”

He pulls me flush against his chest holding me in place tightly, he kisses down my neck and sucks on my skin making me moan, my body goes limp in his hold and he pulls away chuckling and kissing up my lips again

“Damn I love you so much”

I kiss back, deepening it slightly, I pull on his bottom lip just as someone clears their throat, I freeze then pull away and he pouts, throwing our server a dirty look. I shove him and he rolls his eyes and gives her a fake smile

“Mark that is rude apologies”

“I’m sorry for being rude Alice”

She looks a little surprised and then her face falls and she stares at my throat. She looks to mark frowning, so I touch where she’s looking and realise he had nipped the skin on my neck and it was bleeding slightly. I smiled at her and look up at mark

“It opened again, I can’t see it will you check it”

He looks down and recognition passes over his features and he smiles, grabbing a napkin and holding it against my neck. I looked back at the server and this seemed to relax her a little.

“Sorry, you just never know in this place, iv met way to many wolves in sheep’s clothing to know that not everyone acts the way they truly feel”

I smile and squeeze her hand and give her a genuine smile

“Me to, but I assure you that this Wolf May be a little rough around the edges but he would never hurt me”

He buries his head in the crook of my neck kissing my throat making me giggle. I close my eyes and wrap my fingers in his hair and relax against him, when I open my eyes again she’s smiling at me

“See just a big puppy”

He growls making me laugh and he smiles against my neck as Maddox comes forward and sucks on my neck making me jump and scaring the s**t out of the poor waitress.
