Chapter 8 : The Beginning Of The Witch's Game

It was morning time. Nick and his mother were both present at the dining table. Nick was telling his mother the entire incident of the night.

But just then Serina came there, who looked extremely angry. As soon as she arrived, Serina spoke to Nick’s mother in great anger and said:

“You, Elina Harper, a wolf witch—what do you actually want from me? First you told me to wear a locket, on which you had done some kind of magic, because of which I was having terrifying kinds of dreams. But the dream that I saw last night, your face was clearly visible in it. Why are you doing this to me?”

After hearing Serina’s words, Nick said:

“Enough, madam. This is too much. You cannot talk to my mother in this manner. The locket that my mother gave you to wear was for your safety and mine. But you yourself broke it.”

After hearing Nick’s words, Serina became even angrier and said to Nick:

“Wow! Now even your mouth has a tongue. Now you will speak to me in this tone?”

Just then a maid came there carrying Nick’s mother’s belongings and said to Serina:

“Madam, I have packed all of her things.”

After hearing the maid’s words, Serina said:

“Good job.”

Then Serina said to Nick’s mother:

“For now, I am only throwing you out of here, but if I find out that your son was also involved in this conspiracy, then I will not leave him alive.”

After hearing Serina’s words, Nick’s mother went to Serina and said:

“Daughter, you are misunderstanding. I have not done any magic on you.”

But Serina pushed Nick’s mother aside. Nick’s mother fell to the floor. Nick quickly lifted his mother. At that moment, Nick was so angry that he felt like grabbing Serina and pushing her like that.

But Nick’s mother stopped Nick and said:

“Son, if Serina wants this, then I will leave from here.”

After hearing his mother’s words, Nick said:

“If this is your decision, then I will also go with you.”

After hearing Nick’s words, Nick’s mother said:

“No, son. Serina needs you here. I think that truly some wolf witch has cast her magic on both of you. I will try to find a way to break this magic. Until then, you stay with Serina.”

After hearing his mother’s words, Nick said:

“Alright mother, as you say, I agree. But I can drop you to your home.”

Then Nick went to drop his mother at her home, from where he had brought her.

On the other side, Serina and Kael set off from Blackwood Residence toward the Midnight Forest. After a long time had passed, Serina and Kael finally reached the Midnight Forest.

After reaching the Midnight Forest, Serina said to Kael:

“Tell all pack members to gather here.”

After hearing Serina’s words, Kael loudly spoke a code word. As soon as its sound was heard, all the members of the Silver Moon Pack who were present in the Midnight Forest came toward Kael and Serina with great speed.

Then Serina formed four teams, out of which one team’s leader was Kael, and the leader of the second team was Serina herself. Then Serina gave the order that all four teams would go in different directions of the Midnight Forest and, after going there, would carefully examine everything.

“Has everyone understood what I said?”

All the members said:

“Yes madam, we have understood.”

Then the four teams got busy with their respective tasks. Serina moved forward with her team and reached the center of the Midnight Forest. As soon as she reached there, Serina felt something and stopped right there and closed her eyes. Then Serina touched a nearby tree with her hand. At that moment, the thought came to her that something must have definitely happened here.

Then Serina opened her eyes and instructed her team members:

“Look carefully around here; maybe we might find some proof.”

After hearing Serina’s words, the members of her team started looking carefully at everything there. After searching for some time, one member of the team found a ring, which he immediately picked up and gave to Serina, and said:

“I found this from here.”

When Serina examined that ring closely, it turned out to be the ring of the Bloody Moon Pack’s Warrior Chief. Every pack’s Warrior Chief has his own ring, which clearly shows that he is the Warrior Chief of the pack. Now Serina’s suspicion had turned into certainty that Rowan and Derek were indeed behind her father’s death.

On the other side, in the Blood Moon Pack, Rowan and Derek were waiting for someone. After some time, Somira arrived there. Seeing Somira, Rowan became very happy and said:

“We have both been waiting for you for a long time, and we want to hear some good news from your side. Did you do the work that I told you to do?”

After hearing Rowan’s words, Somira said:

“Yes, absolutely. I have played my first move, because of which Serina has thrown Nick’s mother out of the Blackwood Residence. And because of Serina’s behavior, Nick is also very angry with her. This is just the beginning; let us see what happens next.”

After hearing Somira’s words, both Rowan and Derek became very happy. Derek said to Rowan:

“Father, your plan worked. Very soon our dream will be fulfilled.”

After hearing Derek’s words, Rowan said:

Then Rowan, looking toward Somira, said:

On the other side, after leaving his mother at her house, Nick had returned to the Blackwood Residence. But he found out that Madam Serina had gone out for some important work. After a lot of time had passed, Serina and Kael both returned to the Blackwood Residence. Nick was angry with Serina, so he did not talk to her. Instead, he went to Kael and asked him:

“Can you tell me where Madam Serina and you had gone?”

After hearing Nick’s words, Kael said:

“Master Nick, I can only tell you this much that we are investigating the murder of Master Darius and Rommel, but I cannot tell you where we went.”

After hearing Kael’s words, Nick said:

“I can understand. Madam must have forbidden you to tell me. No problem.”

After saying this, Nick started to leave from there, but Kael told Nick to stop and then, placing his hand on Nick’s shoulder, said:

“Master Nick, you will have to prove in front of Serina that both you and your mother are innocent. That is why I want to give you a piece of advice: do not lose courage at all. Behave in front of Madam Serina as if you have done nothing and nothing has happened. And yes, tomorrow morning I am free, so we will start your training from tomorrow. Anyway, there has been quite a gap in the training.”

After hearing Kael’s words, Nick said:

“Thank you very much, my brother, for giving me courage. And yes, I am always ready for training. So then, we will meet tomorrow in the battle arena.”

After saying this, Nick left from there.

Morning had already come. Nick and Kael were both present in the battle arena. First of all, Kael said to Nick:

“Master Nick, you must remember that earlier, when I trained you, I taught you the first two important skills of wolf fighting, and later you practiced a lot on them. Now that you have become skilled in those first two skills, let us move toward the next two skills.

After hearing Kael’s words, Nick said:

After hearing Nick’s words, Kael said:

Then Kael called the two best wolf fighters of the pack into the arena. Then Kael asked Nick:

Nick said:

“Yes.”

Then Kael said:

“Let’s start the fight.”

As soon as Kael said this, both wolf fighters attacked Nick. But Nick started fighting both of them with great bravery. Nick was nullifying every strike of both wolf fighters and was easily avoiding each of their attacks.

Kael was also becoming very surprised seeing this, because for an Omega like Nick, fighting like this was still impossible.

During the fight, both wolf fighters formed a strategy together and struck Nick, knocking him down, because of which Nick became very angry and came into a very aggressive mood.

Nick launched a counterattack on both wolf fighters. Nick’s attack was so fast and powerful that the two fighters did not even get a chance to handle it. Nick moved forward and struck one wolf’s neck with his claw, because of which he fell down. Then Nick grabbed the second wolf fighter and slammed him down.

Nick was about to bite that wolf fighter on the neck when Kael called out to Nick and stopped him. Hearing Kael’s voice, Nick stopped and released that wolf fighter.

During the practice fight, Nick had become very serious. Then Kael came to Nick and said:

“Master Nick, this was only a practice fight.”

Nick realized his mistake, and Nick apologized to both wolf fighters and left from there.

But seeing this form of Nick, Kael became very surprised and fell into thought about how an Omega wolf like Nick could fight so fast. Such fast and powerful fighting can only be done by an Alpha wolf.
