Chapter 3 : The secret behind the wedding

Nick brings Serina to the residence of Blackwood and after getting out of the car, he opens the car door. Serina comes out and says to Nick:
“Tell everyone that today is our wedding and start the preparations.”
On this Nick says:
“Why did you invite only Councillor Theron for the wedding?”
Hearing this Serina says:
“Do only what you are told, don’t use your own mind.”
Nick says:
“Yes madam.”
Then Nick asks Serina:
“If you allow, I want to bring my mother to our wedding.”
Serina says:
“Alright.”
Nick says:
“Thank you.”
Then Nick gathers all the pack members and makes the announcement, upon which all the pack members become shocked. After telling everyone, Nick goes to bring his mother.
Actually, Nick’s mother lived in a forest separate from the Silver Moon Pack, that is why Nick was going to bring her. Nick was driving the car but in his mind there was only that moment when Serina had held his hand and chosen him as her mate.
Nick was very happy about this but at the same time it was troubling him why Serina had chosen him as her mate. She could have chosen any powerful Alpha as her mate.
Suddenly someone comes in front of his car and Nick presses the brake. That man says to Nick:
“Are you blind? Can’t you see someone crossing the road?”
Nick says:
“Sorry, forgive me, it’s my mistake.”
That man says:
“Crazy fool.”
Then Nick starts his journey again, but still Serina was in his mind. He only wanted that this time would pass quickly and his wedding with Serina would happen.
After some time Nick reaches his mother. She becomes very happy seeing Nick, hugs him lovingly, kisses his forehead, and says:
“Today what made you remember your mother?”
Hearing this Nick holds her hand, kisses it, and says:
“I remember you every day, but what can I do, you know what kind of leader our pack has. He makes us do a lot of work, there was no time.
And if I asked to go more often, he would not allow it. Anyway, leave all these talks, today I am very happy. Today a very big dream of my life is coming true, which I myself could not believe.”
Hearing this Nick’s mother asks:

“After our wedding my mother will stay here.
On this Serina says:

Nick goes outside with Serina. Serina says to Nick:
“What made you decide that your mother will stay here? Could you not ask me? First of all, even though our wedding is happening, you will still remain my servant. Next time if you want to do anything like this, ask me first.”
Nick was listening to all this very calmly and only saying “Yes madam.”
But Nick’s mother was hearing this. Then Serina goes away from there. Nick stands there sadly and light tears come in his eyes.
Just then his mother comes there and says to Nick:

“What did we even gain in the end? By killing Darius and Rommel, we didn’t even get The Blackwood Group of Industry. Serina ruined all our plans by choosing that omega Nick as her mate?”
Then Derek says:

Rowan says:

Derek replies:

Then Serina holds Nick’s hand in hers and says:
“I, Serina Darius, today promise you that I will never leave your side and will never abandon you at any turn of life.”
Then Nick, giving his vows, says:
“I, Nick Harper, today promise you that in this journey of life, I will never leave your side. In every moment of life, whether in happiness or sorrow, I will stand with you. Our bond will never end, even after death. I will give you a love that the world will always remember.”
Then Serina marks Nick on his neck, and Nick also marks Serina on her neck.
After this, Councillor Theron Eldric announces in a powerful voice:
“From today, according to the Wolf rules, you are both official mates and life partners. I, Western Wolf Community’s councillor Theron Eldric, accept your bond in front of the Silver Moon Pack.”
On this joyous occasion, all the pack members howl to congratulate them and welcome them.
The scene shifts to Serina’s bedroom, where she, still in her bridal dress, is waiting for Nick. On the other side, Nick’s mother gives him a locket and says:
“Son, give this as a gift to your bride on your first night.”
Nick says:
“Thank you, mother.”
Then he goes toward Serina’s room, knocks on the door, and enters.
He goes near Serina and says:
“I want to give you a gift on our first night.”
But Serina pushes him away and says:
“Stay away from me.”
The locket falls from Nick’s hand.
Nick asks Serina:
“What happened?”
To which Serina replies:
“Which first night? You are just a worker for me and nothing else. I’m sure you must be surprised why I chose you as my mate. Now I will tell you, so all confusion will end and you will not remain in any misunderstanding.
I chose you as my mate only because you are a simple, straightforward omega wolf. You can stay under my control. This way I will take control of my pack and the Blackwood Group of Industry under myself, and you will only be a leader in name.
In this way I will also take revenge on my father’s killers and bring them to their final end. It was my father’s dream that I would lead the pack. Today I have fulfilled his dream.
