Chapter 14 : Rowan Finally Faces the Truth

At the Blackwood Residence, Nick, Serina, and Nick’s mother were all sitting together in one place and talking to each other.

First of all, Serina asked Nick’s mother: “We have already come to know the truth about Rowan, but how will we tell this truth to Somira? I do not understand this. And even if we tell Somira this truth, will Somira believe our words?”

After hearing Somira’s words, Rowan was quite shocked and said:

“You mean that someone has kidnapped Karl Paul and kept him imprisoned in the Midnight Forest. Whoever is behind this, I will not spare him. Now I must go there quickly, and you prepare to kill Nick and Serina.”

After saying this, Rowan left from there.

After hearing Nick’s mother’s words, Somira said:

But just then Rowan also arrived there along with his companions. When Nick and Serina saw Rowan, both of them were completely shocked, but when Rowan saw Somira there, he became completely frightened, because he started to feel that Somira had now learned his truth.

When Somira saw Rowan there, her eyes turned red with anger, and with intense fury she began to move toward Rowan. When Rowan saw Somira coming toward him, he ordered his companions to attack and himself attacked Nick.

Then a terrifying battle started between the two packs. Nick was bravely confronting Rowan, but Nick’s wounds had not yet fully healed, so he was gradually appearing weak in front of Rowan.

But the Silver Moon Pack’s side was strong, because Somira was also supporting the Silver Moon Pack in this battle and was killing Rowan’s wolf fighters very quickly using her powers.

After some time, all the wolf fighters of Rowan’s pack were killed. Then Somira moved toward Rowan and, using her powers, lifted him and threw him a short distance away.

Then she quickly advanced and placed her foot on Rowan’s head, about to crush it, but before she could harm him, Serina called out to Somira and stopped her, saying:

“We have to bring Rowan’s truth before everyone and give him punishment in front of the leaders of all the packs, so that everyone can know why Rowan is being killed.”

After hearing Serina’s words, Somira stopped and brought her anger under control. Then Serina took Rowan and Karl Paul with her to Blackwood Residence.

One day later, Rowan and Karl Paul were taken to the Bloody Moon Pack, where Councillor Theron Eldric and the leaders of all the packs of the Western Wolf Community were also present.

Then Rowan, Derek, and Karl Paul were made to stand in a line in front of everyone. At that time, Somira was also present there.

Then Rowan confessed to all of his crimes. After that, Councillor Theron Eldric said:

“Keeping the crimes of Rowan and Derek in mind, both of them are sentenced to death,” because both of them conspired to kill Darius Rucker, the leader of the Western Wolf Community, and carried out their conspiracy by having Darius Rucker killed.

After the deaths of Rowan and Derek, the responsibility of choosing and handling the leader of the Bloody Moon Pack will belong to Nick Harper, the leader of the Western Wolf Community.

After hearing Councillor Theron Eldric’s decision, Serina took a breath of relief, because at last she had fulfilled her promise and brought her father’s killers to their end.

Just then Nick held Serina’s hand and said to her:

“Madam, today your dream has been fulfilled. I hope that today your heart has found peace.”

Then Rowan, Derek, and Karl Paul were hanged right there in front of everyone.

After the hanging, the dead bodies of Rowan, Derek, and Karl Paul were taken away from there by Councillor Theron Eldric.

When everyone started to leave, Somira came to Nick and Serina and said to both of them:

“If possible, please forgive me. I caused both of you a lot of pain. I became so entangled in Rowan’s words that I made myself so bad that I was ready to take anyone’s life.”

After hearing Somira’s words, Nick said: “No, we have no complaint against you. You were not aware of the truth, that is why you did this. Now you should end the hatred inside you and learn to love people again.”
