Zima's POV
I sat on the bed in the dorm, watching Betty hum some weird tune that I know doesn’t exist. My head was pounding with too many thoughts .. revenge plans, King Aiden, Darius, Damon… all of them tangled up in my brain like a messy playlist I couldn’t turn off.
I was supposed to be getting ready for combat lessons, but honestly? The thought of training with Darius again made me want to skip. I wouldn’t learn a thing, not with those stupidly warm eyes watching me the whole time.
