He was far on the other side of the bed with his back to me, ignoring me consistently, no once or twice I saw him steal looks when he thought I wasn't watching him. I creeped to his side and circled my arm around his abdomen placing my head in the space near his neck.
Stroking him belly, I reached for his hand which he pulled away from me. My heart wretched with this act but I wasn't losing the hope as I forcefully slipped my other hand under his neck to the chest, to pull him into me. His breath, weak and slow began to rush.
