  I had tightened my grip around the knife and once the guard was close enough, I plunged it in his shoulder. He screamed in pain and stumbled back. I felt a surge of adrenaline as I sprinted out of the parking lot. I had no idea where I was going but I didn't care. I just needed to get away. I didn't even look back to see if he was chasing me. I kept running, my heart pounding in my chest.   I turned down an alleyway hoping to lose the guard. But as I turned the corner, I ran into a brick wall. I collided with it so hard that I lost my breath and fell to the ground, my head spinning.
