Rosie

I saw him looking at me so I looked down on my hands to avoid making eye contact but I could still feel his eyes on me, I felt kind of weirded out cause it's really rude to stare, I was about to call him out on it respectfully of course when I heard his daughter say " I think daddy likes you ,will you be his girlfriend ? ". I looked up at her shocked at what she just said , not knowing how to respond to that , I could tell her father was shocked by her question and so was Liam. We sat there in silence for a while , and they were all looking at me to respond , so I did , " ohh ummmm... No I can't be your dad's girlfriend sweetie, he's my boss so it would be unprofessional". Was all I could come up with , I saw the disappointment in her face but it's true I don't mix business with pleasure at all , not that if he wasn't my boss I would date him I'm not really looking for a relationship at the moment. after that the whole meeting was awkward , but Liam saved me from it by asking for their schedules so we could familirise ourselves with it, I really needed to work around Jen's school time cause I can't stay with her in class that would be a bit awkward and weird, I needed a plan to keep her safe while giving her space to be a child and go to school , I need to talk to the teacher's about this situation and she has all these play dates with friends , maybe they should be scheduled to be here at her home it will be safer, " You guys will stayed here with us , I think it will be simpler and safer under the circumstances " Said Shaun, looking between me and Liam, " ofcourse that is part of our contract , if it is requested that we stay with the client we have to oblige by it is all about the safety of the client" Said Liam with a calm look on his face , " I didn't know staying with a client was part of our contract " I whispered to Liam, he looked at me with a "really" look , which he was right to give me cause I should have read my contract properly, so I awkwardly l smiled a bit embarrassed, " please give us the day to go pack our things and we will come back later" Said Liam and Shaun nodded in response. As we stood up to leave Shaun Said," I will have Suzie prepare rooms for you , we will see you later then " , we both nodded in response and we took our leave.

We got into the care a and Liam looked at me " What?" , I asked , " You didn't read the contract ,you just signed " he said giving me a concerned look, " I just saw you sign and I thought okay ,nothing is wrong with it , yes it's stupid I know but I trust you ", I said and he planted his hand in his face and I couldn't help but laugh , but he was right I should stop doing that and start reading contracts carefully. " So how long do we have to stay with Mr Holmes excatly " , I asked Liam hoping he would atleast know how long the contract was as I clearly didn't read the contract properly , " It was not stated in the contract but I'm assuming that it's until the property deal is done and someone has bought the building." said Liam , I nodded in response , After a few minutes Liam dropped me off at my house and said he will meet me back here after he is done packing, that's when I remembered that I left my car at the office this morning , so I should send an email to administration to ask them have one of our drivers return it to the house or maybe I should leave it there and get it back when I'm done with the assignment cause I won't use it until then.

I started packing my things and when I was done I waited for Liam to come back so we can go and I prepared myself some food at the moment and went back to studying Jen's schedule and decided that I should set a day to go to her school and tell them that I'll be the one picking her up and dropping off and maybe at times she might not come to school depending on how the situation is. I heard my phone ringing and I realized that I might have fallen asleep , I looked to see that it was Liam, " Hello Liam " I said still half asleep , " Rosie l'm outside , let's go " he responded , so I got up and went to my room to take my things and I left locked the house, I opened the trunk putting my bag there and then I opened the door got into the car and we drove back to Shaun's house.
