After along shopping morning with little Jen, we finally got the perfect dress, we got back home and I headed to my room to prepare for the gala I had a lot to do. I had about 5 hours to get ready so I went to the bathroom took a long bubble bath, after that I shaved my legs cause I haven't been in a dress for a while and I put on some make up and I tied my hair into two pigtails French braids and then rolled them in to a bun at the back , then I put on a thigh holster and put on my weapons in the just incase , it was a Gun, 3 Small knives , 2 small gas bombs and a taser. Then for the part I was most excited about THE DRESS, it was a royal blue , long sleeved , off the shoulder,s A line dress, with a split on the left side, I don't know if you get the image but it's so beautiful and it complimented my body beautifully, I then put on my pair of black block heels with ankle straps , which were very cute and I put on Birkin brown matte lipstick which complimented my skin.And I was done with 30 minutes left to spare of course by now Jen was already banging on my door and I took my handbag that matched my shoes (black). I walked out the door to find Liam, Jen and Shaun standing in the hallway betting on whether or not I'll be out in time for the gala , which was funny and so I cleared my throat to announce my presence and they all turned around at the same time to look at me and well let me just say jaws were dropped, and they just stood there staring at me , " It's rude to stare you know", I said , Shaun finally snapped out of it , " You look hot ... sexy ... I mean beautiful ", said Shaun smiling, " Well you look hot and handsome too " I said and I could see him blush , he did look handsome and with his beautiful blue eyes, he was wearing a navy tuxedo and black shoes, the theme of the gala had something to do with shades of blue and the colour black , Liam finally closed his jaw and nodded ,then said" You clean up well " , I couldn't help laughing, "You look really pretty Rosie", said Jen with a cute smile , " Thank you sweety", I said smiling "Shaun , shall we " and he nodded , offering me his arm which I accepted , God he smells good, we got into the car we had 2 more guards with us and we made our way to the gala.

We arrived at the gala the decoration was beautiful it was very elegant and classy, you could tell only elites were invited here. We were greeted by a few people before we sat down at our table. Well since me and Shaun aren't really use to spending with each other it was really awkward, but he tried making small talk and well we had a few solid laughs before the event started, when it did, the were speechesmade then some bids of some random items, and donations to charity things , you know stuff rich people do at these events, we ate and drank some wine, I don't have the right words to discribe my boredom, " Don't worry it's almost over" said Shaun , which meant he saw how bored I was , " That's the greatest news I've heard all day", he laughed at my words. The whole thing was over and then there was an after party where people danced and some socialized and stuff like that , " Do you want to dance? ", said Shaun offering me his hand and a smile " I don't know how to dance " , " Well I'll show you", I nodded and took his hand as we made our way to the dance floor and the were playing a romantic slow song called Can't help falling in love by Haley Reinhart , he put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer and I put my arms around his neck and we slowly moved and his eyes look directly into mine and it felt as if he was staring directly into my soul and I felt warm , confident yet vulnerable under his gaze and I bit my lower lip , receiving a groan from him and his eyes went to my lips and I knew he wanted to kiss me and I wanted him to , so he got closer and so did I, when we were about to kiss , someone cleared their throat making their presence known and we both came back to reality," Emily ", said Shaun and she hugged him , she was so beautiful, blond hair, green eyes and you'd swear she was a model cause he had a slim body with an hour glass waist ,and I couldn't help but feel insecure around her ,she wore a....," Rosie this is Emily my old friend " Said Shaun snapping me out of my thoughts , then continued to say , " Emily this is Rosie My girlfriend ", saying I was shocked was an understatement but I didn't correct him either and she looked me up and down ," Really, she isn't excatly your type", is what she said and then she continued to say " Well I guess you are one who loves doing CHARITY and she looks cheap enough" , and God it took a lot out of me to not respond to that , I could feel my rage building up , cause this b**** just called me cheap. " Don't talk about her like that Emily" said Shaun defending my honor, " Well it's the truth isn't it" she said , " I Said ENOUGH, I won't allow you disrespect my girlfriend like that " Said Shaun and he was mad and she seemed surprised by his response , he thentook my hand and lead me to our table where I took my handbag and we went outside. " I'm sorry, she shouldn't have talked to you like that", said Shaun " You don't have to apologize, you didn't do anything wrong", " Well, you ...." I crushed my lips into his not letting him finish his sentence and he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer until my body flushed into his . The kiss was slow and sweet. And then I realized I was kissing my boss and I pulled back and looked at him , " I'm sorry...." is all I could say before I heard gunshots making Shaun fall into his knees in front of me , I immediately went to bodygaurd mode when I saw the shooter and I pulled my gun from my thigh holster and started shooting , while trying to get Shaun into safety , the shooting must have alerted other guards and they appeared just in time as my bullets have ran out, bullets started flying everywhere , as I was pulling Shaun to the safety , trying to get him into the car when I felt Gun on the back of my head ," Turn around and put your hands up ", said a woman I put my hands up and I did as instructed , and to my surprise it was the blond b**** from inside but I thought her and Shaun were friends , she pulled the trigger twice and the were no bullets, she threw the gun aside and we started fighting she took out a knife and I took out mine and she cut me on the arm and on my leg and " This is your last day you cheap sl**" she said and after that all I saw was red as my rage was on over load and we fought and she was on top of me pinning me down and that is when I plunged my knife into her from below and I did that three times until she fell of me, I looked at her a she looked pale , but I didn't have time to check whether or not she was dead I went to Shaun who was bleeding excessively I saw that he was shot from the back ,I wasn't sure where so put pressure where I thought the blood came from , when one of the other guards came carrying the other one putting him in the front seat, me and Shaun in the back and he drove to nearest hospital as fast as possible, I kept trying to keep him awake, I didn't want him dying on me.

After a little while we arrived at the hospital the guard got of the car and ran inside to ask for help, He came back with help and two beds one for Shaun and one for the other guard , we went after them as they drove them to ER, Some nurse came to me and the guard pulling us in and that was only when I remembered I had be cut many times during the fight but I guess I could feel anything because of the adrenaline at the time, they gave me pain medicine ,cleaned my wounds and bandaged me. Shaun was still in surgery so I called Liam and informed him of what happened and about 30 minutes or so he showed with Jen who was clearly been crying from how puffy and red her eyes were , she ran to my arms and I carried her hugging her tight , trying to assure her that her dad will be alright , which I was praying was true . " is he out of surgery yet?" asked Liam worried , I shook my head in response, " are you okay? , what happened? ", he asked trying to understand, " I'm fine just a few cuts and bruises , I'll tell you everything once we know Shaun is alright I don't want little Jen to hear it " I whispered to him and he nodded, we waited a little longer and then the doctors came in and told us Shaun was alright, he won't use his right arm for a while because one bullet was stuck in some area between the bones in his shoulder but the took it out and one was close to his spine but lucky it didn't hit him on the spine so he'll be fine. we can see him when he wakes up, and we can take him home in two days time.Both gaurd were okay too. I couldn't help but feel guilty maybe if I had been doing my job instead kissing my boss this wouldn't have happened.
