Hannah's POV
Spending a month apart was the best decision we made. It gave us time to get out of our emotional turbulence. Jackson needed some time to mourn the death of Emily and his child and I needed some time away from all this tension.
Jackson went to New York to hold the reins of the main branch of their company. And I, well I moved back to my father's house for this month.
Jackson called me a few times during this month but he didn't talk much. I could sense he had drowned himself in work again. He didn't even once bring Emily's name again. It was like he was denying the news I told him.
