Chapter one : Love at first sight

Sounds of the Cockerel echoed through the walls of the house, dawn of a new day drawing in from the East, rays of sunshine shining through the window reflecting on the mirror and bouncing right back at sleeping Mia, a teenage girl who leaves in a small town in South Korea. Suddenly, Mia woke up with freight from a nightmare, scared about what she saw in the dream so she stood up from bed and went towards the living room downstairs, as she walked pass her parent’s room she stumbled upon her grandma who was conducting a ritual on the family altar, then Mia greeted her and said “grandma I had a nightmare about demons that they were invading our lands, destroying families and a lot of lives were lost too”, then her granny went to her room and got one of her spell book and she conducted a ritual to chase away the demons and when the ritual was over, she told Mia to come sit with her that she wants to tell her a story “my child there was a time in the world where humans and demons from the underworld live together until when two thieves were caught stealing by a demon in a dark corner of the street, the thieves being terrified that they’ve been caught so they had no choice but to shoot the demon to avoid any further questions. When the demon king found out he instructed his demons to annihilate the humans, but the humans had a backup plan in case the demons decide to go nuts, they went to an ancient dragon who has the power to grant any wish, they asked the dragon to send the demons to a place called the underworld and they also told the dragon that the portal should be sealed as long as the dragon lives, times passed the dragon grew old and It’s magic became weak, when the demons saw that the spell was becoming weaker they used that as an opportunity to continually strike on the gate suddenly, they saw a hole in which slipping out would lead them into the dreams of the chosen one, so you are the chosen one, your purpose is to bring back peace to the land", Mia's came downstairs and overheard her mom telling Mia about demons she started having flashbacks of how the demons killed her dad when she was ten, Mrs Lee didn't want Mia to go through what she experienced so she went up to them and said “mom why are you telling Mia those useless stories, she doesn't need to hear that",
