Jenny felt a literal chill then her spine. In her past life, Gina had caught her off guard by asking her to bring a gift, leaving her flustered and unable to say anything, which only made her grandmother to dislike her even more. But in this life, she had come prepared. With a smile on her face, Jenny stepper back from the old lady and turned to Gina. "I brought something for grandma'', she said. As she spoke, she opened her bag and took out a transparent box containing a traditional Clothes. Sophia couldn't help, bit cover her mouth and laugh. "Sister, you brought some random clothes for grandma?" she said. The guest looked down on her immediately. Although the First Miss of the Owen's had a good temperament, she couldn't change her unsophisticated ways! How dare she bring a piece of rag as a gift! Sophia immediately added fuel to the fire, "Sister, if you didn't bring a gift, you shouldn't have brought anything at all. How can you use a piece of trash to appease grandma?" The men among the guest who found Sophia charming couldn't help but chime in. "That's right, Miss Jenny. Even if you've had a hard time in the Heitherside, bringing some piece of clothes as a gift Is too perfunctory, isn't it?" The old lady heard this and couldn't help but frown, but she still said "A clothes is also a gift from the heart, and I happen to love traditional clothes". Jenny explained "Grandma, this is not any piece of clothes, it is Hanbok, and it was knitted by Master Charles. It's even have your name embroidered on it". "Master Charles?" The old lady took the box in surprise and examined it carefully. At the moment, the male guest who had mocked Jenny earlier spoke up again, "Master Charles knitted this Hanbok?, Are you kidding me?! Trying to pass off some random Hanbok as Master Charles pieces, do you think we're fools". The old lady eye showed a hint of disappointed and disgust upon hearing this. "Jenny, even if you brought me a plain clothes, i would still like it. But you shouldn't lie. The thing I hate most in my life is liars'' the old lady scolded. Jenny frowned, "Grandma, I'm not lying. This is indeed the Hanbok, Master Charles knitted, i won't lie to you.." "Enough!" Gina interrupted and slammed the table "Jenny, stop lying. We have a family designer, you lies will be exposed sooner or later. Just tell me the truth, is this Hanbok really knitted by Master Charles". Jenny's face turned dark "I'm not lying". The old lady observed Jenny expression and couldn't help but waver. She said "Call the family designer!" "Mum... Gina whispered, You don't really believe this girl, do you? If we make a big deal out of this, we'll be embarrassed together." If Jenny was really lying, she would that admit her judgement was wrong. But if she wasn't lying.. she would definitely protect this granddaughter's of her in future. Soon, the family designer arrived... But before Gina and the old lady could even ask, the designer's eyes lit up and she trembled as she pointed at the child's hand holding the clothes, "What.... Master Charles pieces! In my lifetime, I can't believe I'm seeing Master Charles design in real life! My goodness, what a luck!". As soon as this words were spoken everyone fell silent. Especially Gina, Sophia and the male guest who had mocked Jenny, their face turned green. Who would have thought that the gift from a Hither'side girl would turn out to be Master Charles pieces, the legendary designer whom was sort by many influential people but they couldn't connect with him. Sophia couldn't believe it and asked again, "Ma, are you sure? Could it just be a clothes that's looks like Master Charles designs?". The family designer frowned and replied, "Miss Sophia even if I mistook my own mother, i couldn't mistake Master Charles designs for someone else. It's every designers dream to meet Master Charles or any made design made by him. Would i mistake my dreams." This completely confirmed that Jenny was not lying. Sophia hands trembled, and she almost collapsed in frustration. Gina, who was quick to react, stepped forward and held Jenny's hand, apologizing sincerely, "I'm sorry, Jenny it's my fault for misunderstanding you". Jenny didn't say anything, but her eyes were fixed on the old lady. The old lady's face also showed a sense of guilt. For a few minutes, she also thought Jenny was lying. "I'm sorry", the old lady spoke up, "Grandma shouldn't have doubted you. I won't do it again in the future." "It's okay, Grandma. Master Charles designs is rare and it's normal that you didn't recognize it. I won't take it to heart." Jenny replied. As she spoke, the old lady took off the bracelet from her own wrist is and put it on Jenny wrist. "You gave grandma such a precious gift, but i didn't have anything good to give you in return, so I gave you my dowry bracelet from years ago." Jenny understood that the bracelet was made of rare jade and was valuable. The fact that het grandma was willing to give her this bracelet meant that Jenny had gained her trust. And she had Gina to thank for it. If Gina hadn't intentionally asked her to gift her grandmother, Master Charles designs wouldn't have been presented at that moment. "Thank you, grandma," Jenny smiled sweetly. This was just the beginning...... Gina looked at the bracelet on Jenny wrist with envy. She had wanted that bracelet for a long time, but she never thought that grandma would give it to Jenny and a gift. But Gina couldn't show her jealousy, so she put on a show of generosity and asked Jenny, "it's getting cold outside, why are you only wearing this little thing? "She then had a servant bring a fox coat and put it on Jenny, making her outfit looks even more shabby. Although it was getter cold, it was still not cold enough to wear such a thick coat. Gina's intentions were to Jenny feel inferior and embarrassed just like she did in her past life. But back then, Jenny had naively thought that Gina really cared about her. Gina looked at the coat and then suddenly smiled. "Thank you, Mom," she showed the same grateful expression as in her past life. As expected, she was still inexperienced. The guest looked at her in disdain. But Jenny seems not to care. She put on the fox coat like a treasure, carefully stroking the fur on it. She looked stupid, like a joke. Gina almost laughed out loud. She thought Jenny was really smart. But a country bumpkin is a country bumpkin after all. This was easy. After today, all the wealthy ladies in Dreamsland would know that Jenny isn't cultured and wouldn't want to associate with her. Thinking of this, Gina picked up her teacup and took a sip, using it to cover the smiles that's have curve on her lips. Just then... "Ah!" Jenny suddenly screamed and quickly took off the fur coat and threw it on the ground!.
