In the next moment, the man forcibly tore her clothes.
"Ah" Jenny exclaimed, instinctively protecting her chest with her arms.
Was she being sexually assaulted?
Did someone want to assault with her present appearance.
She heared the noisy sound outside in the corridor.
"Weird, I really saw him here...."
"He must have hidden in one of the cabins, search each cabin thoroughly".
The people outside were moving very fast, and judging from their footsteps, they were about to reach their room.
Oh! So it's wasn't an assault but someone who was trying to escape.
With a knife pressed against her throat, Jenny knew her life was in danger and any mistake would endanger her. In order to ensure her safety, she gritted her teeth and spoke up "Fine, I help you and outsmart those people outside, and I can even help with your wounds but you must promise not to hurt me". She knew that she can't escape from this man, so she had to cooperate with him.
To her surprise, the man's hostility disappeared when he heard her offer. "You better keep up to your promise, else I wouldn't care if you are Francis bethroed". He threatened with a calm voice yet very frightening. His eyes glinted with a dangerous light.
The sound of the footsteps grew louder as they were approaching the door of the cabin. Jenny didn't have time to hide him so sg did what came to her mind immediately. She took the initiative and pushed him down and climbed on him, making him to be beneath her. She groaned and moaned softly moving her body in a seductively manner.
The man realized what she was trying to do, but he was still surprised and uncomfortable. This woman didn't seems like who would seduce a man with her face.
Suddenly, the door was kicked open with a great force. Jenny cried our in alarm and clung tightly on the man's neck. The people outside would see the two intertwined bodies with the woman's hair spread out in the pillow. Although, they saw only the woman back and were not lucky to see the man's face the scenes was very erotic.
But when the woman turned her head, they saw a scary face with her face covered with big burnt scar. The man felt sick in his stomach and closed the door in disheust
"Is zane inside " Someone came over and asked.
"No, I saw a pair of wild ugly duck, let go".
The door was closed and Jenny breathed a sign of relief.
Soon, the sounds of footsteps disappeared completely.
"You did well". The man's tone were not praising at all and he didn't even look at her. He sat up and dealt with the wound on his body.
Jenny saw the man's wound in the light that came through the curtain.
He was injuried in his hand, and after wiping the blood off his shirt, Jenny could clearly see that there was a bullet there.
Gunshot wound!!
Thank goodness it was on his hand. The bullet penetrated only on his hand. And it didn't pieceried through his hand and didn't hit any vital organ.
Blood rushed out like a bursting dam.
"Are you crazy?"
As a doctor, even if the man didn't look like a good person, Jenny put on her clothes and went to the suitcase to take out medical kits.
Under the man's suspicious gaze, Jenny explained "I'm a doctor".
The man didn't say a word, but he allowed her to help stop the bleeding. He was lucky that Jenny medically kits was well stocked with hemostatic agent.
However, it took her close to an hour to stop the bleeding.
"Done" Jenny said.
As soon as she finished, the man's large hand grabbed her chin and lifted her face up. Her face were smaller than this palm, but her eye were surprising big like two blue crystal that sparkled. Unfortunately, her face was, covered with big burnt scar making her look ugly and terrifying.
He is not the kind to judge people by their appearance. Was this interesting and unique girl really his brother bethroed.
"What's your name? How old are you? Where do you live?". The man asked curiously.
Jenny didn't want to talk to him and kept her head down, tightly pursing her lips. After a moment of silence, she said "The person is gone, you should go too."
"You won't tell me" the man sneered.
Jenny wasn't foolish enough to tell this dangerous man her identity.
"Do you Know who I am" the man asked.
"I don't know and I don't want to know, please leave" Jenny urged.
"Fine" The reached out his hands and pulled her necklace.
The necklace wasn't that important, but that's her mother's pendent.
"Give it, back to me" Jenny reached out to take it, but the man was much taller than her. He lifted his hand, she jumped up but she still couldn't reach it.
The man watched Jenny jump around like a puppy for a while before speaking. "The cruise is going to Dreamland. It seems like you are headed there too. When we arrive, go to Golden palace and look for me. I 'll will return your necklace to you".
As he spoke, he suddenly reached out and hit Jenny's head. Jenny felt a sudden darkness and collapsed into the man's arm, losing consciousness.
When she woke up again, the cruise ship had already docked. Jenny sat up and realized that the man was no where to be found. She quickly checked her self and breathed a sigh of relief when she found out that the man hasn't done anything to her.
The next seconds, she reached into her pants pocket and pulled out an old fashioned Ring yet the sight was captivating. When the man tired to hit her head, she knew she couldn't resist, so she quietly stole the ring from his finger. Its surprising how he didn't notice, anyway it's was a good deal for her.
As for finding him at Golden palace? No, thanks. There were too many things she needed to do in this life, and she wouldn't waste her time on that dangerous man. Her top priority ever since she has been reborn was to avenge herself and her mother. Jenny put away the ring and caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror in the room.
In the mirror, Jenny saw the terrifying scars on over her face. It's just a matter of time then she wouldn't have a scary face that frightens people.
In her past life, her master had warned her beauty would bring her a lot of troubles. Therefore, after returning home, she had to hide her true appearance and endure people criticism in silence untill she could be able to defend herself.
She did as she was told but she got in return was being stabbed on the operating table by Sophia, Gina and her husband working together.
But in this life, she would live differently. She will reveal her true appearance, strengthen herself and never let anyone manipulate her again!
The ship docked, and Jenny got out of the cabin.
She have returned to Dreamland.
She would make those who had hurt her in past life pay back in hundredfold.
When Jenny disembarked from the cruise ship, the Owen's family butler was waiting at the port, eagerly looking for her.
"Where is she? Why hasn't she come out yet? Have you seen a girl with a burnt scar all over her her face?" the butler asked, turning his head to his subordinate. Several of them shook their head.
Jenny happened to overhear them.
It's seems that her stepmother had already made her research and found out about her situation, and even know she have a face full of burnt scars.
She smirked and walked over to them......
