“That was f*****g unreal!” Hunter yelled as everyone left.
“I can’t believe they did this for me.”
“Well, it seems like you touched some of them.”
I laughed. “Yeah, even with my messy, pokey apartment.”
“Tiana’s something else.”
“That,” I said, pointing at him, “is an understatement.”
He drew closer to me as, once again, we found ourselves alone in the hall. I could see lust written all over his face, his eyes ravishing my body as he tok each step.
“The kids?” I asked.
“With Andrea, as always.” .
“Steve came back,” I said, knowing that I was most likely spoiling the mood, but I didn’t want any secrets between us.
He nodded. “So I heard.”
“Who told you?”
“Tiana, when you were talking to the others. She said you’ll need me more than ever now because you had a rough day.”
