I had nearly eight hundred thousand in my account. The rest was used to pay off my debts. One year had passed, and I’d spent it with my three grumpy bosses, who were only grouchy in front of others, but with me, they were the complete opposite.
I never stepped inside the office again. There was no need for me to, but most of the staff didn’t, either, as the law firm had to downsize and take on other businesses such as property, commercial, and other industries instead of focusing on only tax, divorce and criminal law like before. The Blacks didn’t stop thriving to make their money, but they did learn to give a lot more to charity and those in need of it.
