Selena POV “You can't do this to me, why in the world would you want me to take the blame for something like that? Don't do anything to me please,” I was looking around as the pack guards held me to take me to the gallows for the execution, it was not going to be easy to convince anyone. I looked around and I could see Luther standing there with Adriane by his side and Luna Katherina standing close by with Anna by her side. It was clear that they were not going to listen to anything I wanted to say. So this is what my good behavior and love had gotten me, I was not going to be able to live this one through. I looked at Luther to see if he would tell them to stand down but there was no sign of him saying anything and it was a bit scary for me. The executioner placed my head on the guillotine, it was about to be over for me. I looked at Luther and there was no sign of him even wanting to stop anything that was happening. “Luther?” I muttered as the blade of guillotine came down on me. “Ahhhh!” I sprung up from the bed, my entire body was drenched from the sweat. I was filled with fear and was still shivering, I looked around and there was no one close to me and it looked like I was in a well-decorated room. “Where in the world am I?” I asked as I looked around, it was not the blood crest pack and that was sure. I didn't know what I was going to say but all I could remember was making a phone call and then everything went blurry. “You are looking around like you can even recognize your birth pack, I am shocked.” I heard a familiar voice, this voice was one of comfort and one that I would give anything to hear every day to be sure I was safe from all the troubles in the world. I turned to see my brother standing by the doorway, it turned out that I was sitting in the Scarrlett Kingdom and no longer the Blood Crest Pack, my heart went warm when I found out that I was not anywhere close to Luther or his people. I was still looking at my brother and there was nothing I had to say but stare at him with tears welling up in my eyes. I couldn't think of what I would say to him it had been a long I had seen him and I had gotten the chance to talk to him and not only that he was in front of me in person. He tilted his head to look at me, it was clear he was a bit confused and didn't know what I had on my mind. “You okay princess?” Viktor asked me, he had a habit of calling me princess. He was the first son and the only living son of the Lycan King, to the alphas he was a powerhouse that they would fear even with him not saying a word. I shook my head, a smile on my face. I could hardly contain my emotions and there were so many things happening in my head. “Or is there something you want to say?” Viktor asked if he was looking at me with a smile on his face. Tears began dropping from my eyes, I was happy that it was a dream I was having when I saw all that. “Ah, it's good to see that you are still a big baby, but you know it will be nice to hear my little sister speak. I want to know if that scoundrel hurt you or did something to you so I can look for a way to make sure that he pays for it.” Viktor was never joking about my health or anything that would relate to me. “No, I am fine.” I shook my head, I wanted to make sure that there was no way he would do anything out of pocket. “Then what in the world is wrong with you, you haven't said much like you saw a ghost of some sort.” Viktor was walking towards me with a smile on his face. I smiled when I saw that he was trying to make sure he made me say something. “It's good to see you too big brother,” Viktor paused and looked at me, “I am happy to see you to princess, Now I want you to tell me why I found you passed out on the floor in that wretched pack. If father should find out about this then there is no..” “Please don't tell him,” I didn't know when I spoke up, I was shocked that I didn't even waste time to tell him not to give Father the news of my predicament. “And why shouldn't I? You were lying unconscious on the floor and you were vulnerable so if I am not going to tell him then why?” Viktor was getting angry, and I knew that his getting angry meant that he was not going to be taking some things lightly. “Where was Luther? Where in the world was that fucker when you lay unconscious on the floor ?!” Viktor was asking, he looked at me trying to get an answer out of me by all means and it also meant that he would make sure that the entire Blood Crest Pack was not going to be safe from his wrath. “Please don't hurt him, I know you are angry but please I don't want anything else to happen there.” I don't know why but for some reason I didn't want anything to happen to him and his family so I was going to make sure that there was no way for Viktor to pay them a visit. Viktor looked at me and he was not happy one bit that I was trying my best to make sure that nothing was going to happen to him. “You are seriously going to protect him like he is some kind of saint that can't do any harm to you. Why are you protecting him like this?” Viktor looked at me, I was a bit scared that he won't listen to me and he would try to do anything that would come to his mind but then he was still looking at me. I couldn't tell why I was even thinking of helping him, even after he put me through all that pain. I was not even sure that I was meant to help him like that, but deep down in my heart, I couldn't deny it. I was still madly in love with Luther.
