CHAPTER TWO

As they stood at her doorway staring into each other's eyes Xavier leans in his lips brushing against Leah's in a gentle sweet kiss.

The moment Xavier's lips touches Leah's she felt the world was melting away leaving only the two of them in it,but for a second she pulled out of the kiss.Xavier noticed and apologizes， without any response Leah rushed inside leaving Xavier outside, Inside her heart started racing harder ,whiles she waz leaving in the moment her phone rang it was from Samantha. The two started a conversation;"What took you so long to answer my call??

Leah laughed and said; was just dealing with some personal stuff. Personal stuff?? What's so personal about that stuff tell me." It's about a guy I met"

Samantha couldn't believe after so many years Leah brings up the topic about a guy, "After so many years look who decided to have a change of mind."

Leah: So I met him at the recent art gallery exhibition I did ,the exact one you couldn't attend.

He's a dancer, musician and loves art.

Samantha: Interesting,Wow I missed a lot then I'm expecting more so talk and he's hot right??

Leah: You guessed right??

Samantha: And I mean you guys are already in love cause I can feel it lingering or??

Leah: There's nothing just admiration for each other.

Samantha laughed out loud cause she could sense what Leah is feeling right now;

Samantha: Girl,tell that lie to someone else.

Leah: Ain't lying!!

Samantha: Girl calm your nerves down, tell me if anything.

Leah: Okay fine I'm into him and I'm down bad for him, he's just so perfect though I know humans aren't perfect.

Samantha: I'll be back soon, seriously can't wait to see the Mr. Perfect who stole your heart.

Leah: You sure have to cause I miss you badly, I need you here to talk to. Before anything we just kissed minutes ago then your call came through.

Samantha: Hold on,you guys kissed the lip kissing or the cheeks?

Leah: The lip kissing,it wasn't intentional we were lost in the moment that's why.

Samantha: Wow there's a mutual feeling here, Pookie you're in love and you both should see that??

Leah: Calm down with this love doctor vibes, are you done detecting your own boring love life.

Samantha: See someone I'm trying to be of help to. A whole big celebrity like you is still struggling with your love life.

Leah: Says a CEO who owns multiple restaurants. Are you having a fix love life yourself,birds of the same feathers hops together so we're the same.

Writers POV: They talked for over two straight hours and finally they ended the call. After the long conversation they went to bed and rested for the next day,

Next day Xavier called Leah and invited her to have coffee together with her. They're already in love with each other and it's obvious but they're refusing to realize it.

As days went by the love and affection they had for each other keeps growing,they open up to each other and kept each other company ,telling each other their darkest secret wasn't a big deal. As the relationship progressed challenges arises ,they were ready for the challenges cause life challenges are hell burnt on happening.

Xavier's brother Jamie came back from his trip and that same day Samantha also returned, Samantha called Leah to come pick her up at the airport. An hour later Leah got to the airport she hugged Samantha tightly like her life depends on it,they stood there for 10minutes tears rolled down Leah's face when Samantha realized that she cried too" it's feels so good to see you again" Leah smiled.

Leah: Samantha Wood!! You've been missed??

Samantha: Leah Blankson, you can't imagine how bad I miss you too.

Leah: I'm hyped to finally have to back again .

They went into the car and headed straight to Leah's apartment. Samantha is a very outgoing, confident and a supportive character whiles Jamie is charismatic and a bit of a trouble maker.

Weeks later Leah and Samantha fixed their schedule and went out for a coffee date, Leah confides in Samantha about her feelings and Samantha advices her and offers some insights.

After a month Xavier and Leah arrangements to introduce Samantha and Jamie to each other. On fateful day they all met together and introduced themselves,Jamie grew fun of Leah and Samantha and loved their presence on their first meeting, it's was a blast having all of them sharing business ideas and life experiences. Jamie mastered courage and asked for Sam's number,she wasn't ready to give it to him but after a second taught she did.

Everything was going very well between all of them , feelings grew, friendship bloosoms to something more fun and beautiful.
