Pain.  It was all I felt. Burning. Shredding. Stabbing. Consuming. With each minute that passed, I'd think there's no way it could get stronger.  But it did. Each minute, each second, it seemed as if the pain had started all over again, with a burning vengeance.  I'd long given up on reaching the two keys in front of me. I was starting to give up hope that I'd live. Sure, I'd always say death was better than this life, and I wanted nothing more than to be gone, but that wasn't actually true. Death terrified me. Especially by the hands of Leonardo.  Then again, Jemma was gone. I didn't need to be here for her anymore. Bridgit is strong. She can, and has survived Leonardo's wrath.
