Ivy was so eager to get to the office, even after she acted like she wasn't too concerned last night. It was very possible to have called Jay to discuss it over the phone but she didn't want to, she wanted to ask him face-to-face.
Just as she got in, she met Maria who was also just resuming for the day.
“Hm....Here comes Mrs. Hilton to be. Good morning Ma’am,” Maria teased.
Ivy was not expecting that and she wondered what Maria was up to, it was too early for some unnecessary gossips.
Stepping into the office, Ivy gave her a somewhat uninterested look as she cautioned, “Good morning Maria. What was that?”
“Uhn? Hm…nothing,” Maria answered.
The response was better because Ivy would have given her a rude comeback if Maria had repeated herself. She had so many things that were happening
