Ivy woke up for the first time in years feeling happy, her mother's surgery was done, and her and Jay’s relationship was not so bad.
The only thing that was causing her concern now was the fact that she was to move in with Jay in a few weeks time. She didn't want it but it was in the contract and they were going to get the ring today.
She got up and looked at the mirror. Her features were out, her hair was scattered because she just woke up but she looked happy.
She remembered the other day when Jay called her to his house and told her they needed to make it official. His parents, his late Dad in particular were demanding he get married and not only have a girlfriend, but she didn't know what to say or do since she was being paid to agree in the first place.
