Ivy watched as her uncle begged Jay this was the first time she saw her uncle beg someone, it felt weird.
“I will withdraw the charges on one condition,” Jay said glaring at her uncle.
“You will apologize to my fiancee for accusing her wrongly and also raising your voice at her,” he added.
Ivy looked at Jay, surprised at what he said. Her uncle was strong-headed and she would not even ask such a thing from him.
Noticing how reluctant her uncle looked immediately he heard Jay’s wish. It was a “no” for him and it was written all over his face.
He stared at Ivy for some time contemplating begging her or going to court.
