Chapter 7Kylie arrived home for the mid-term holidays and quickly caught up on street and family news. With Gran’s earnings and the extra cash Tara’s mum had sent to cover her daughter’s board and lodging, for once there was enough money to turn up the heating and buy extra food.
Gran was beyond pleased at her success and having her two girls back under one roof. She relished the company, accepting all offers of cake and tea.
