Crash hoped Amber was having as good a time as he was, but he was afraid she felt neglected. She seemed happy to help with tournament sign ups and keeping an eye on the drawing barrel, but it was sometimes hard to tell exactly what women were thinking. He made sure she never needed for something to drink, and noticed she was drinking more water than the beer she’d ordered. He wondered for a minute, why, then decided that since they were working with money it was good no matter her reasoning and let it go.
