Melissa and Sarah wandered over to the tent to prepare for the first show. It was a habit they both had in common. Unlike Wendy and Lisa, they liked to be well prepared for the performances and not running around in a frantic state after leaving everything until the last minute. Sarah's trapeze lesson was later than usual that morning, and Melissa had decided to work out at the same time. When they had finished setting their costumes, they wandered into the ring in rehearsal gear. The trapeze was already in position. Melissa saw Benjamín helping them secure the huge net in place, then he picked up a hammer and went over to check one of the seating areas. She surmised that he must also be the chief handyman, as he always seemed to be pottering around doing little jobs here and there.
