Sarah lay in the dark, her hands behind her head staring at the ceiling. She found it impossible to sleep. To her surprise, being alone in Fernand's trailer felt quite natural, but her mind refused to let her rest. She was worried about him, of course, but his family had said that they only wanted his immediate family to go to the hospital at the moment. The latest news from Edwaldo was that he had come out of surgery and he was stable, but that was not the reason for her inquietude.
