CHAPTER TEN
Since the party two weeks ago, the girls had become a secular unit. Melissa and Lisa felt there was safety in numbers and were hiding away from their other halves – for want of a better word. Melissa was adamant that her relationship was well and truly over. Whereas Lisa did not feel particularly sure that hers was still ongoing. Sarah hung around as she had nothing better to do while Wendy secretly wished that they would all bugger off so that she could have some much needed alone time.
There was a nip in the air that evening and the girls had decided to partake of an alcoholic beverage… or two …or three from the cosy if somewhat cramped confines of their tiny caravan.
