Lisa held her jacket closed with both hands, the temperature had taken a drastic drop compared with the day’s sunshine. A swirly, grey mist had fallen around the circus, enshrouding it with an ethereal ambience that sent shivers down her spine and made the thought of confronting Mario much more daunting. His van stood in darkness, so she headed over to his parent’s trailer and tapped lightly on the door. She waited for the lurch and groan of the caravan. Mario’s mother opened the door and eyed her with open contempt that made Lisa feel as though the woman could shrink people at a mere glance. "Er…Mario?"
