Phil’s POV It’s Violet’s first day back to school. I would know since Theo only mentioned it six times on Saturday and complained openly that I hadn’t slept over last night since mom wanted to hang out after church. Sundays are the only days she almost consistently has off and sometimes only in the morning for church so on her days off we tend to go out to lunch, maybe catch a movie. Theo knows that time with my mother is sacred so he finds something else to do but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t complain about it.
