Phil’s POV “Oh, you were serious,” Diana said, eyes widening as they landed on Theo who was lying on a bench in the front of the school when he saw us. Hopping up, he gave a small wave, dressed in gym clothes and running shoes. He was lax, like always, smirking as he walked up to us with this cocky gait. “I thought you were joking,” she added, her cheeks already taking on some color. We’d just finished up with the student council meeting and Theo told me he’d wait up front but I’d thought he might get bored and head home.
