As though I hadn’t made one mistake already, I made another mistake of letting them talk until they were satisfied. It turned out that was the worst of all.
“After that kiss you shared, did y’all f**k?” Sofia asked. “Was that why you were out of reach?”
“No, I’m sure they f****d before she posted it. There has to be another reason she was unreachable.” Charlotte answered for me.
My face was flaming hot. “We didn’t–“ I interrupted the three girls who were busy making theories. Charlotte was wearing a bikini and was outside. I wondered if her family wasn’t nearby for her to speak vulgarly. Sofia, on the other hand, was obviously in an office. Chloe was the only one at home. “I wasn’t out of reach because of him. It was because I knew you guys would react like this.”
