Nellie’s POV The world came back in fragments, a whirlwind of pain and darkness slowly fading. My eyelids opened with effort, the dim light filtering through a familiar window, painting shadows on polished wooden walls. I was in a large bed, the sheets soft against my skin, but the scent of pine and leather struck me like an unwanted memory: this was my room in Moon’s Fang, the one I once shared with Ethan. My heart raced, panic swelling as my mind replayed the events in the SUV: his hot breath, his hands ripping at my clothes, Clarisa’s roar, and then… nothing. Darkness. Now I was here, in the place I had sworn to leave behind. I looked down. My body was covered by a man’s shirt, too big, saturated with Ethan’s scent. It wasn’t the clothing I had worn. My blouse, my pants… were gone.
