“You’re here,” I said as soon as Arthur walked into the living room. He acknowledged me a with a single nod.
Toby immediately ran to him, his medal dangling around his neck as he jumped up and down excitedly. But I noticed something different about Arthur… especially in the way he held him.
“You did amazing. I’m so proud of you,” He praised.
“Thank you, Daddy. I’m proud of you too,” Toby replied, making Arthur burst out laughing.
My eyes were probably narrowed when he looked up at me, but I didn’t bother fixing my expression.
