Amelia's POV
After Marrock and I made up and I accepted to be with him even though he had two mates already, I was fine with it as long as he treated every one of us equally.
I was going to ask why I never heard from them or saw them in the palace anytime I went there. He was working on our desk, so I thought to ask him.
"Marrock, I have a question to ask you," I said, picking out an empty chair.
"Sure, I'm all ears milady," Marrock said which made me blush.
"Why is it that I never heard about your two mates before? Even anytime I sneak into your palace to see my father discreetly, I never see their shadow?" I asked, curiously.
"That's because they never stayed around. They preferred to stay at the outskirts of the town," Marrock said.
"Wow, why if I may ask?" I asked.
