I took a warm bath and loved the quiet. Dallas and Kansas knocked on the door but I ignored them.
"sweetheart please let us in",Dallas begged.
I remained quiet I just wanted peace and quiet. Sitting at the vanity I did my makeup and fixed my hair. I dressed in a summer dress and unlocked the door. Stepping out I sidestepped Dallas and Kansas as I headed to my purse and car keys. I am going to the doctor today alone like I have been since I ran off.
"Tara wait",Dallas said but it only made me pause before heading outside ignoring everyone. I got in my new Honda civic and drove off. They can wallow in their guilt for awhile cause I spent every moment thinking I was a burden. They had Viola bring me three meals a day while my punishment went into effect but its over now.
