"What? That's impossible!!" Anne said. She picked up the test result from the floor and she gasp in shock seeing that Brenda is two weeks pregnant. "M m mom, she's two weeks pregnant." "What!!" Peter yelled. "I knew it mom, I know that this b***h was definitely up to something, remember the day she didn't come home, I knew she was up to no good." Anne spat. "Who tell hell is responsible Brenda?" Marian asked, her eyes were literally spitting fire. "I I I...." Brenda trailed off, she didn't know how to tell them that she doesn't know the father of her baby. "Speak up or I'll beat you to a pulp." Peter threatened. "I don't know." Brenda yelled in frustration. "What?" Marian asked. "I don't know who he is, it was an accident, this pregnancy is a mistake, i i i just...." She trailed. Brenda took in a deep breath, since the truth is out already, she'll just have to tell them how it happened. "I went out and I got drunk, someone took advantage of me in that state, I don't know who it was." "Oh wow." Anne said, then she clapped her hand. "You didn't tell us you now work as a prostitute." Anne said. "What?" "Oh please, don't try to hide that fact, I'm sure you got pregnant from a one night stand with one of your customers, and now you're trying to cover it up with a damn story." "What are you saying Anne? I'm not a s**t, so please stop calling me that and stop saying things you don't know." Brenda yelled, she's tired of Anne and her hurtful words. Peter walked to Brenda and he slapped her hard across the face. "You still have the audacity to talk after the shame you've brought into this home." He thundered. "Dad." "Shut up! Not a single word Brenda, you have no shame, you went ahead to get pregnant for a stranger and here you are talking rubbish, we should throw you out of this house right now, what the hell were you thinking huh, do you have no shame, you're not only foolish, you're also useless and senseless." "Look at your elder sister, she'll never be as foolish as you are, Anne is older than you but she'll never be so stupid to bring a bastard into the home, we should have killed you way before you were even born." "I don't even know what we're going to do with you." Peter said in frustration. "And hope you aren't expecting us to feed the bastard when its born, because we won't waste a dime on another man's child, you had better remember who it was that got you pregnant and look for him, we won't waste our money helping you raise another man's child, i and your father didn't work this hard just to waste it all on a bastard." Marian spat. "I'm sorry mother." Brenda cried as she fell to her knees. "You're sorry?" Marian scoffed. She looked at Brenda with so much hate in her eyes, one wouldn't believe she gave birth to her due to the way she treats her. "Sorry won't solve this problem, you've made the biggest mistake of your life and now you'll have to pay for that mistake you useless girl." Marian screamed. Peter couldn't do anything, he only stood there, watching the whole scenario, he felt like hitting Brenda again too, but he was holding himself back. "Please mom, I'll accept any punishment you give to me, just please forgive me mother, I made a mistake, I'm sorry." Brenda cried. "You're right Brenda, you caused this, so you'll suffer the consequences of your foolishness." Marian said with gritted teeth. Brenda raised her head to look at Marian. "You'll raise the bastard alone, don't expect any help from us." Marian spat. She eyed Brenda dangerously, then she left. Peter stared at Brenda, his eyes held so much hate and disappointment in them. "You're a mistake and a disappointment, you should never have been born, you've ruined everything, and you'll pay for it." Peter spat, then he left also. Brenda now regrets ever going to the club in the first place, and for the first time, she regrets ever knowing Frank, she regrets loving him, she regrets everything now, just for that mistake, she'll suffer the consequences for the rest of her life. The thought of a miserable future flashed through her eyes, and she wept bitterly. Anne crouched down to Brenda's level, and she couldn't help but laugh at her. "Tch, tch, tch, tch." She made the sound with her mouth. "Look at you, helpless and foolish, you know Brenda, I wonder if mother is truly the one who gave birth to you, you're just filled with so much bad luck, now look at you, even if you had wanted to do it, you should have told your client that he should use a condom." Anne laughed. "But no, you went ahead and did what your foolish brain told you to do, now look at you, I'm glad we won't be helping you raise your bastard, we can't waste our precious money on you, miss one night stand." Anne mocked. "You're nothing but a useless s**t!" Anne spat. Her eyes held nothing but hatred in them. "You always pretend to be a saint in front of everyone, ha!" "I seriously can't believe this Brenda, you're a b***h, a shameless w***e, you're a pretender, you're a snake." Anne's words were like a knife, and it cut deep into Brenda's heart. "Please Anne, that's enough, enough with your insults now." Brenda said, then she stood up, and Anne followed suit. "No insult is enough for you Brenda, you've brought shame into this house and you expect me not to talk, you must be a fool to think that, anyways, I won't waste more of my precious time talking to you bitch." Anne said, she hissed loudly then she went to her room. Brenda ran to her room, and when she got in, she locked the door, she went to lie on her bed and she began crying in pain.
